Jillian Souza Advice from an Architect

Hi I’M JILLIAN

I BELIEVE OUR VALUES CAN & SHOULD DESIGN OUR SPACES.

This is the most direct path to creating passionate, honest days, vibrant creativity, & an honest home.

HERE’S A BREAKDOWN OF THE CURRENT RESOURCES AVAILABLE ON THIS SITE:

I love to know why a person does what they do so here’s a little background about me:

I am a licensed architect, author, entrepreneur, birth doula, wife, mom of two on earth and one in heaven, and dreamer who loves reality.

I believe in the power of creating meaningful spaces. When I say space I mean physical and mental spaces, literal and figurative spaces, indoor and outdoor spaces -- all of it.

Originally from Tennessee, I have made my home in Montana. Along the way I have lived in cities and small towns. I have lived in houses, apartments, duplexes, a warehouse and even out of a truck. I have raised children in tiny apartments and in a house with acreage. In each case I have learned something valuable about creating meaningful spaces that support both creativity and family relationships.

In addition to architecture, grief work, and the resources on this site, I spend my days homeschooling the kids alongside my musician husband, planning a homestead, creating, writing, resting, dreaming, painting, grieving, and drinking lots of tea.

You can also find me at Wooly Architecture and at A Table for Grief.
